In short. Our apps have no accounts, so there is nothing to close. What an app saves stays on your phone, and uninstalling the app removes it. If you have written to us, email us and we delete your messages.
1. Data on your phone
You never sign up for our apps, so there is no account to delete. Your settings, bookmarks and reminders are saved on your phone. Uninstalling the app deletes them. On Android you can also openSettings, then Apps, choose the app, and tapStorage then Clear data.
2. Messages you sent us
If you wrote to us, by email, through this website or from inside an app, you can ask us to delete those messages:
- Email support@contactimran.com with the subject Delete my data.
- Send it from the email address you used with us, so we can find your messages. Tell us which app it was about.
- We reply within 3 business days, and finish within 30 days.
We never ask for an identity document.
3. What we delete
Your messages and the details that came with them, from our inbox, our contact form service and our support tools. If your message became a bug report, we remove your details from it. We also ask the services that help us to delete their copies.
4. What we may keep
- A short note that you asked us to delete your data, and when we did it. This lets us prove we did it.
- Records the law requires us to keep.
Deleted email can stay in backups and in the email service’s bin for up to about 30 days before it is gone for good.
5. Data held by Google, Apple and other companies
Some apps use services from other companies, such as Google’s advertising and crash reports. Those companies receive data from the app directly, linked to your phone rather than to your name, so we cannot find it or delete it for you. You can control it yourself:
- Android: open Settings, then Privacy, thenAds, and reset or delete your advertising ID. (On some phones this is underGoogle, then Ads.)
- iPhone and iPad: open Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Tracking, and switch off Allow Apps to Request to Track.
- Uninstalling the app stops it sending anything more.
- Purchases and subscriptions are recorded by Google Play or the App Store. Ask them about those records.
Each app’s privacy policy, linked from its store page, names the services it uses.
